Quest Window Systems Inc (“Quest”) is a manufacturer of a window wall system designed for high-rise residential developments, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Quest services clients from all over North America, including major metropolises such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto.

Purpose

Participate in all aspects of Service Order Program development that include re- ceiving service orders from job sites, maintaining and updating service order log. Working with production to create, plan and follow up to ensure that all service orders are exe- cuted and delivered on time. Coordinate with accounting team to invoice customers.

What you will be doing

• Participate in developing an effective Service Order Program.
• Maintaining/updating Service Order Log for Projects.
• Interpreting fabrication drawings and sketches to facilitate Service Orders.
• Issuing all Service Orders to production.
• Working with Scheduling team to create plan to execute Service Orders.
• Coordinating Shipping deliveries with Scheduling team the concerned personnel.

What you will bring along

• College or university undergraduate degree in a related field
• At least 1 year of related experience in manufacturing environment with specific exposure to planning, coordinating and scheduling production operations
• Able to read mechanical drawings - interpretations
• Outstanding desktop computer skills (MS Office applications).
• Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
• Pleasant telephone demeanor and effective communication skills
• Manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Ability to read shop drawings is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task, remain calm, yet maintain sense of urgency for all requests.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals, as well as the ability to work well independently.
