Historic bed and breakfast located in downtown Winston-Salem is looking to grow its amazing staff. The Shaffner Inn has retained historic charm while expanding to include modern amenities to provide a unique and memorable stay for our guests.
Job Duties:
- Maintain all Sanitation and Safety Standards daily.
- Ensure all checklists and logs are done each day.
- Ensure that all standards are always upheld.
- Maintain all the quality control standards of each food item that leaves the kitchen and is delivered to the guest.
- Keep a professional appearance and attitude while on property.
- Knowledge of Alcoholic Beverages and adhere to all appropriate ABC standards.
- Be always in uniform during your shift. Must be in uniform before clocking in.
- Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
- Making menu item recommendations
- Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
- Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
- Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
- Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management when necessary
- Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
Pay Range: competitive pay above minimum wage plus tips

Work Schedule: M-F 6AM-Noon, Weekends 6AM-3PM
