We’re looking for a General Manager to lead our company in Santa Barbara County, representing over 8MM in annual revenue. You are a leader who inspires and motivates your team toward greater efficiency and profitability in all departments. You naturally maintain a high quality of work while simultaneously elevating the profitability and performance of the company. Your interpersonal skills allow you to uphold a sustainable and healthy team culture as you continue to build on our existing reputation of excellent client experience and customer service.

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 15 years experience in landscape construction industry
● Requires minimal supervision while upholding an atmosphere of positivity & professionalism
● 2+ years as a GM or an equivalent position successfully managing a multimillion dollar company
● Technologically inclined; experience with Aspire, Quickbooks & Paylocity is a huge bonus
● A proven track record demonstrating your ability to build strong relationships with general contractors, and other clients, resulting in strong business performance
● Demonstrated skills in project and time management, team motivation, and decision making.
● Good written & verbal communication skills + positive attitude
● Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy

General Duties:

● Oversee and manage all departments at EcoLawn; Operations, Sales, Admin/HR, Maintenance, and Advertising.

● Implement best practices and improve efficiency of daily operations.
● Maintain and grow company culture by upholding a positive, productive, fair and safe work environment for all team members.
● Lead by example with exceptional punctuality, organization and communication.
● Keep crew morale high, use disciplinary actions as necessary.
● Able to build a high-performance internal company team (office manager, estimator, field managers, field crews, etc.) that requires minimal supervision while maintaining an atmosphere of cooperation and professionalism.

● Oversight of the Operations team including overall systems, quality control and company assets.
● Ensure work is executed with the highest quality and that project budgets are met, and margins are exceeded.
● Develop long and short-term business strategies that scale the company to align with budget goals created by ownership
● Identify ways to provide more value to the customer
● Increase market share and look for opportunities to develop new profit centers for EcoLawn.
● Look for ways to lead our industry with innovation and set us apart from other landscape contractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
