Our client provides packet processing, network visibility solutions, cyber security and monitoring solutions for high-speed networks. Their products are used in commercial and government applications. Cherry Hill, NJ area location. Solid benefit package includes an excellent ESOP. Outstanding work environment. Hybrid schedule- onsite 3 days per week.
Selected candidate will work with other team members and interface with engineering, product management and test/QA teams developing leading edge software in C++ on Linux platforms for next generation streaming analytics products. Complete projects without assistance and as part of a team. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code. Present detailed design reviews and participate in code reviews. Conduct performance engineering including system profiling and software optimization. Agile software development methodology environment.
Required Qualifications
- BS in CS, EE, CE, etc. MS a plus
- 5+ years of experience developing modern software applications in a Linux environment
- Strong proficiency in C++, knowledge of the language specification - C++11
- IP networking and socket programming
- Strong knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms; Familiarity with templating in C++
- Experience with multithreading, memory management, and high performance applications
- Understanding of code versioning tools, e.g. SVN, Git; DevOps and CI/CD technologies experience, e.g. Jenkins
Experience in any of these technologies is a plus
- Java, Javascript, python based applications
- Modern web development frameworks such as React, Angular, other Node.js based systems
- Data modeling, XML/JSON schema, REST API, and UI development
- SQLite, MySQL, NoSQL database experience
- Embedded Linux, multi-core, real-time environments, and device drivers
Salary- $120K-$150K plus benefits
