Job Summary:

The Retail Marketing Specialistis responsible for developing and executing a holistic retail marketing strategy for our existing fleet of 230 stores and scaling as we open new stores. The primary focus will be building brand awareness, driving traffic and sales for all stores, with a specific focus on new store openings. This position will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Brand and Retail on the overall retail marketing strategy, execution of program tasks, maintaining program budgets and providing weekly program reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports Marketing Manager, Brand and Retail in day-to-day execution of retail marketing programs to drive store awareness and customer traffic; implementing local marketing strategy, new store grand opening events, and brand partnership programs.
  • Plans and executes new store grand opening events, including researching local media opportunities, local vendors and bookings, asset delivery, and communicating initiatives with new stores.
  • Builds & maintains a strong collaborative partnership with external partners as well as internal retail field team. This includes updating and maintaining contact lists, communicating all relevant initiatives with field and store teams, and addressing specific marketing and promotional needs in a timely manner.
  • Works cross-functionally with internal partners in retail operations, visual merchandising, social media, and CRM teams to execute retail marketing initiatives.
  • Helps research, plan, and execute local marketing and awareness initiatives for existing and new stores.
  • Work with proximity search marketing platform to ensure location listings are setup and optimized across Google, Yelp, Facebook, and various online listing sites.
  • Weekly Reporting.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing, and/or consumer experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to present marketing plans, objectives, and results to the department in a concise and professional manner.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize requests and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Google sheets, Gmail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Social Media platforms.
