Senior Payroll Specialist

HIGHLIGHTS OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll
- Prepare bi-monthly payroll input of payroll transactions such as salary adjustments, payroll taxes, payroll deductions, garnishments, new hires and all other payroll related
- Process monthly payroll of about 100 volunteers
- Maintain compensation records and related files for each employee
- Process timesheets for payments and accuracy of data
- Record amount of payroll deductions including retirement, health plan premiums, advance and other authorized deductions
- Record and audit accrued annual leave, sick leave, and personal business leave on compensation record
- Maintain files of all payroll printouts, PANs, timesheets, program disks
- Export from ADP quarterly payroll tax return to State DE4, and Form 941 Federal tax return
- Any other assignments as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA from accredited university with emphasis in Business or Accounting preferred
- Excellent spreadsheet, database, and word-processing skills, SAGE 100 accounting
- Excellent written and oral communications
- ADP
- Other accounting and analytical skills a plus
