JOB SUMMARY

SDI is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the Prototype Integration Facility at Redstone Arsenal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the task specified in the statement of work contained in the task order
• Required to have experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration
• Provide technical expertise to integrate stand-alone system technology onto existing systems
• Partner with the Customer Support, Transportation, Procurement and eCommerce teams to plan and prioritize logistics activities. Assist with resolution of any service issues related to logistics operations
• Review new customer's guides to ensure all shipping requirements are identified and can be met
• Partner with teams to develop standard operating procedures for each customer
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skill

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Minimum of 8 years of task related experience and show completion of a full 4 year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelors or higher degree
  appropriate to the field of expertise, acquisition, logistics, business or management or;
• Three additional years of task related experience (a total of 11 years) may be used in lieu of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
