Our Boise location is looking for Loan Operations Specialist II, in this role you will be responsible for performing complex duties related to commercial and consumer loan servicing and documentation. You will prepare loan documents and add and maintain loans on the banks loan service system.

The Loan Operations Specialist II must assure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Essential Functions

• Prepare loan documents in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the loan approval while ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with state and federal laws, regulations and Idaho First Bank’s Credit Policy and procedures.
• Reviews loan approvals to ensure information is complete, follows up to obtain missing information before generating documents using the Idaho First Bank approved software systems.
• Prepares documents for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations.
• Review executed loan documents. This includes approvals, beneficial ownership and any other supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Add new loans into loan servicing system.
• Complete post-closing work including but not limited to scanning of initiated loan documents, uploading of all supporting documents to system of record and making paper loan file.
• Work through report of paid loans, within internal bank systems to release any loan collateral and ensure proper storage of documentation.
• Work with title companies and relationship managers to provide loan payoff quotes.
• Process loan payments and advances.
• Review monthly insurance reports to verify loans requiring insurance are up to date. The loan operations specialist will follow up on loans that have expired or are set to expire.
• Work in bank loan servicing system to keep loans up to date and make changes to loans as required.
• Learn current systems and programs used within the department.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two (2) years of related banking experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using a loan documentation system required, LaserPro experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal SBA guidelines is desired.
• Computer proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.
