In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

The role is responsible for the effective performance of AC&S Product line quality (quality assurance, defect prevention, and continuous process improvement) within the C4ISR Business Area. This position will technology advancements, applications, processes, and people resources across the Product Line and within Product Line functional organizations.
In this position you will work closely with senior management, product line management, other Business Areas, Sector, and BAE Systems counterparts to provide value-added solutions and support toward achieving near term goals, longer term strategic objectives, and compliance to federal, state and local statutes.

We are looking for an experienced, professional, leader who:

- Is motivated by staying on the leading edge of innovation and best practices in quality science and Lean Six Sigma and can guide an enterprise on how best to incorporate changes in products and processes as value driving activities
- Is at ease with travel across the US and selected international locations for internal and Supplier quality activities
- Experienced with multi-plant oversight
- 25% travel required

In this position you will work closely with senior management, product line management, other Business Areas, Sector, and BAE Systems counterparts to provide value-added solutions and support toward achieving near term goals, longer term strategic objectives, and compliance to federal, state and local statutes.
Primary duties include:
- Provide direction, supervision, and guidance to ensure alignment with quality policy, strategic objectives, product line initiatives and organizational goals for both internal and supplier items.
- Manage quality teams at various locations across the Product line.
- Collaborate with product line management for planning, execution, and management of process improvements, projects of special interest, and related initiatives across the product line and BAE Systems.
- Manage compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and minimize risk to employees and liability to the Product Line, Business Area and Sector.
- Formulate and approve policies and procedures in customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and process improvement.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for the Product Line Area
- Lead integrated management teams to determine strategy and tactical deployment, improve performance, lower costs, and generate innovative solutions within the Product Line Area.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Technical bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years of project, program, portfolio quality leadership and management in commercial, automotive, or aerospace & defense hardware and software technology
- Lean Six Sigma experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Active SSBI and Secret or higher clearances
- Technical MS and MBA degrees
