Senior Accountant Job at NOW CFO
NOW CFO is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our clients team as a long term fit. Our client is located in a planned community in Daniel Island, South Carolina. They are looking for an individual who can take on multiple projects at once and can pivot thier focus when needed to, as they will be given several different levels of responsibility. The Senior Accountant will be the lead accountant.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of accounting experience at the senior or staff level. They will need to be familier with accounting systems and technology. It would be helpfull to have experience in the hospitality industry, along with experience in the PayCom and Jonas Club Management systems.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all types of accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intangibles, to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Prepare and manage payroll
- Management accounting
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Create structure within the department
- Daily point of sale
- AR Postings
- This position will be the lead accountant
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree preferred
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- US GAAP knowledge is required
- Hospitality experience is preferred
- System expereince is required
- PayCom experience is preferred
- Jones Club Managemet system expereince is preferred
- The ability to pivot and focus on multiple projects at once
- Hold several levels of responcibility
- Advanced excel skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
