Summary
The Security Guard helps maintain a friendly, safe, and secure environment for ITI employees and visitors by actively monitoring the premises using video surveillance, completing building rounds, and providing excellent customer service. This weekend position is highly-focused on remote surveillance of multiple locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring activities on the company's premises regularly and responding appropriately to ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Monitoring multiple remote sites using additional devices
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vendors
- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management
- Observing and reporting irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security risks
- Testing security systems and reporting problems to proper management team(s)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills-Verbal and Written
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations and solve problems as they arise
- Attention to detail
