Title: PART TIME Security Guard
Schedule: Monday to Friday 1PM to 7PM
Hourly Rate: $17.00
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Security Guards to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. You may be assigned to work at a government building, dormitory, or other locations depending on the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Monitor and operate security systems, such as cameras, alarms, and access control
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees
Requirements:
- VALID AZ GUARD CARD
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in security or related field preferred
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
