With the Macquarie Asset Management secondaries team (Macquarie Alliance Partners), you will work to execute transactions alongside a group of senior investment professionals with over 40 years of combined secondaries and infrastructure experience. The secondaries market is growing and evolving rapidly and presents a dynamic array of opportunities for career and skill development. You will be involved in all aspects of launching and establishing a global infrastructure secondaries platform. MAM Alliance Partners has the foundation to continue to build a successful secondaries business and become one of the leading asset managers for the secondaries market across global private assets.

As an analyst, you will be responsible for research, due diligence and valuation of infrastructure fund portfolios and investments as well as similar investments outside of the infrastructure sector. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze investment performance of existing investments, prepare presentations, investment recommendation and other written materials for internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, you will analyze global industry trends and market data and assist in the negotiation and preparation of legal documentation in support of transaction execution and asset acquisitions.

Who we are looking for:

• 1-2 years of experience in the investment banking industry, private equity, corporate development, or other relevant experience with a strong interest in infrastructure private equity, secondaries and/or buyside investment roles
• Critical thinkers with exceptional numerical skills who express their thoughts and ideas clearly
• Collaborative thinkers who can build strong working relationships while also working independently
• Proactive and resourceful self-starters with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic with experience and comfort in Excel

Macquarie Alliance Partners (MAP) is the infrastructure private equity secondaries investment business within Strategic Solutions at MAM. Strategic Solutions comprises of several verticals, including Investment Solutions, Wealth Solutions, Insurance Solutions, Macquarie Insurance Facility, and Corporate Development. MAP is a business within the Investment Solutions vertical, which invests in private markets managers globally.

MAP provides liquidity solutions for LPs and GPs by purchasing infrastructure secondary LP interests or similar type of investments. By leveraging a combination of the team’s deep secondaries experience and Macquarie’s significant expertise in infrastructure, MAP is uniquely positioned to be the best partner for LPs and GPs when they require solutions for their infrastructure funds and portfolios. We are an investment team of seven dedicated to infrastructure secondaries and have deployed over $500m in multiple investments in the past year.

Salary Range

Salary range for this position: $100,000 - $160,000/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
