Job Title: Sales Representative

Department: Sales

FLSA: Exempt

Region: St Louis,Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina

Reports to: VP of Sales

Direct Reports: None

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals in the region covering the following states: Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Enters packing, order, and product information in or on required forms, records, or other documents.

· Acting as point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned region.

· Identifying local business opportunities and challenges.

· Reporting on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).

· Present our products and services to prospective customers.

· Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions.

· Answer customer questions about product, pricing, and additional services.

· Cross-sell products, when appropriate.

· Collaborate with sales representatives from different regions to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach.

· Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

Required:

· Five years of related experience.

· Knowledge of Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina

Preferred:

· Stretch film/Plastics sales experience

· Packaging Experience

· Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

· Must be able to travel.
