Sales Representative Job at Tourtellot & Co., Inc.
Tourtellot & Co., Inc., a 138 year old north east produce distributor dedicated to providing end users with superior quality produce and service in a customer friendly distribution model and a state of the art warehouse, is hiring a self-motivated sales person for the Connecticut, New York and New Jersey areas. The goal is to increase sales in existing accounts and find and sell new accounts in the tristate region. Ten to twenty years of experience in wholesale produce sales preferred. Store visitation as needed while sales orders can be entered remotely. Participation in weekly on-site sales & buyer meetings preferred or as needed.
Compensation formula is base plus bonus predicated upon hitting benchmarks in sales and margin budgeted goals. Potential candidates should be highly motivated, disciplined, positive, customer friendly, creative and be willing to engage customers in sales oriented dialogue. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft office products.
