  • Directly responsible for sales activities to promote the community to prospective residents and referral sources to achieve move-in and revenue goals. Conduct initial evaluation of prospective residents’ care needs and expectations and recommend appropriate solutions. Works as a team with the Executive Director and other community managers to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy. Directly responsible for all aspects of sales, move-ins, revenue, lead management and accuracy in reporting information. Provides training support for Community Associates closely involved in supporting the sales efforts of the community.
Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years direct sales experience involving intangible products or services preferably in the senior living industry.
  • Proven track record as a top producer.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with associates, prospective residents and family members.
  • Ability to uncover prospective residents needs and effectively address concerns during the sales process.
  • Positive, upbeat, flexible team player with enthusiastic personality and a desire to make a difference in others’ lives.
  • College degree preferred or comparable experience.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Sales
  • Responsible for consistently meeting and exceeding established sales goals.
  • Make outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to qualify leads and sell services.
  • Effectively articulate company philosophy and features benefits of services offered.
  • Handle inquiries to convert calls into appointments/visits.
  • Conduct effective appointments/visits with prospective residents and families resulting in converting to sales/move-ins.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Enter new inquiry data and other sales data for prospective residents into CRM software community database.
  • Promote the community by developing and maintaining quality relationships with existing and potential referral sources
  • Support the outreach sales and marketing activity that may require the associate to be out of the community occasionally.
Qualifications:
  • Communication Skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individual and groups of prospective residents, managers, referral sources and the general public.
  • Communicate effectively in writing including reports and correspondence.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or licensing regulations.
  • Interact well with our residents, family members, all staff members and prospective residents and their families.
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to identify downstream consequences and long-term outcomes of change to operations.
  • Education and Experience
  • B.A. degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience involving intangible products or services preferably in the senior living industry.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • According to Title 22 requirements, employee must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to interpret graphs.
  • Must possess basic financial understanding of revenue and profitability.
  • Certificates, License, Registration
  • Current First Aid Certification (obtained through community).
  • DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to working in community (obtained through community).
  • Health screening and negative TB test, must be less than six (6) months old. (Obtained through community).
