Compensation: $40,000 - $55,000 / year plus commission

Full Job Description

Primary responsibilities include selling tires and custom wheels, tire-related services, mechanical services, and providing excellent customer service in a retail tire store.

Job Details:

• Assist retail and national account customers in selecting the proper fitment of tires and wheels.
• Inform customers of vehicle inspection findings and educate customers on scheduled maintenance services, while delivering professional and courteous customer service.
• Ensure necessary repairs are completed as ordered and priced as quoted.
• Ensure customer files are accurate and free of errors for warranty and documentation purposes.
• Assist Store Manager and Service Manager with operational duties such as inventory control as well as store opening/closing.
• Communicate with and assist tire and service technicians to ensure service levels are maintained.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• Automotive and tire sales experience a plus, car enthusiasts welcome!
• Excellent customer service and communications skills.
• Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office and online order management applications.
• Must be able to keep up with high-volume sales traffic in a busy retail store.
• Able to prioritize attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift an object up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Available to work part-time or full-time, Monday – Saturday, with one day off during the week
• Preferred: High school diploma, GED, or vocational certificate
