Position Summary
The Account Executive position will focus on identifying client needs and recommending solutions that best satisfy those needs. At its core, the position will be responsible for selling to and helping clients in execution of digital marketing strategies and managed IT services. These offerings include a suite of web-based offerings: website development and maintenance, social media marketing, SEO and SEM, managed IT, software and hardware. The position requires the individual to work closely with other teams within the organization to implement leading-edge, next-generation marketing and branding strategies to engage, educate and activate target audiences.

Working Location:
Waterloo, Iowa – hybrid work from home/office can be explored for this role post training and meeting performance expectations within reasonable distance to the Waterloo, Iowa office *(work from home not guaranteed)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5, occasional off-hours when job duties require

Responsibilities/Duties of the Position
The Account Executive is responsible for generating digital marketing revenues for the assigned market to meet or exceed predetermined goals and become a digital strategy resource for multiple clients.
  • Have regular meetings/calls with key personnel
  • Discover and prospect potential clients
  • Analyze client marketing goals and develop needs-based solutions to achieve them
  • Serve as an expert for digital marketing products and services
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
  • Plan work schedule and weekly and monthly timetables
  • Provide after-sales service and consultation
  • Do what it takes to be an active resource for the client
Position Qualifications
Education/Experience:
  • Must have bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent work experience with 5+ years’
Skills and competencies:
  • Strong organization, planning, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build rapport and respect of clients
  • An outgoing, confident and persuasive manner
  • Sound interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with experience and success working in a timeline driven environment
  • Shows commitment to a client focused approach and performs consistently high quality and timely work
Physical Requirements:
  • Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers, phones, misc. office equipment
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
  • Moving throughout the VGM facilities when needed.
