Job Summary:

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), a global leader in the building materials industry, is in search of a Safety Specialist to assist with our EHS program, in Senatobia, MS. In this important role you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and support of EHS and Safety initiatives.

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 7AM - 4PM, with occasional off shift/weekend support as needed for training purposes, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the plant safety programs and fostering the plant wide compliance requirements as established by Carlisle Construction Materials’ Environmental, Health, and Safety department.
• Help maintain OSHA compliance.
• Conduct safety awareness trainings.
• Participate and record Incident Investigations and Problem Solving
• Perform and log Ergonomic Audits.
• Participate and log internal Safety Program audits.
• Support environmental compliance as needed.
• Train trainer to train Supervisors for Awareness Training
• Leading and monitoring Annual Hearing Testing
• Conducting Annual LOTO audits

INDOP

• HS Diploma Required
• Associate’s Degree in Safety Management or related field (Engineering/Business) preferred
• A minimum of 1-3 years of related safety experience in a manufacturing environment required
• General knowledge of government safety regulations
• Interested in assisting with plant specific safety policies
• Interested in understanding Rubber Manufacturing processes
