Summary

We have an immediate need for a Safety Coordinator/Trainer, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus in Monroe Township, NJ with a high knowledge of safety procedures and warehousing techniques, who is OSHA Certified.

Responsibilities Include

· Maintain records of training, qualifications, certifications, etc., as they apply to the safety program

· Be a trusted safety partner of both managers, supervisors, and floor-level employees

· Provide training to new hires and enable effective operation of the established safety systems

· Initiate, document, and monitor corrective actions to adherence to safety programs

· Gather information and generate required and/or requested reports

· Work with employees to resolve safety issues and improve working techniques

· Build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers

· Solve a range of straightforward problems; analyze possible solutions using standard procedures

· Identify and implement areas for improvement on a project to project basis

· Maintain effective working relationships with employees throughout the warehouse(s)

· Ability to train others effectively on various safety and operational topics

Requirements

· 0SHA 10 Trainer Course for General Industry Required

· Vocational Safety Accreditation Required; Associate's Degree Preferred

· 3 Years OSHA experience Required

· Must have minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment

· Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)

· Must be flexible, open-minded and able to operate in a fast-paced environment

· Must be highly reliable

· Experience in the operation of and training others in use of Powered Industrial Vehicles such as order pickers, reach trucks, sit/stand up forklifts, swing reach

· Familiarity with quality management methodology and its application in warehouse management
