Runner Job at Kingsford Fire Grille
Objective of Position:
Supports the Server and Bartender positions to ensure Guests receive an exceptional dining experience. Delivers food and drinks to Guests in a timely and efficient manner and is attentive to Guests needs. Assist Servers and Bartenders with keeping tables free of dirty dishes and glassware by pre-bussing tables on the way back to the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures great looking food and drinks are served to guests in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates ability to display a positive composure, be highly organized and able to
- Improves Guest experience by interacting, connecting, and ensuring needs are met.
- Ensures Guests food and drinks are delivered as ordered and follows up on any needs or corrections.
- Practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with state / local laws.
- Keep the tables free of dirty dishes by pre-bussing any empty glassware, debris, empty bottles, plateware, silverware, etc.
- Restock and prepares supplies for shift change and/or close.
- Responsible for side work and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Refills guest drinks if needed when delivering their food to the table.
- Resolve any Guest complaint brought to their attention and get a Manager involved immediately.
- Communicates any needs of Guests or FOH Team Members to the Expo.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to multitask and work well in a teamwork environment.
- Possess great Guest relation skills.
- Stands/walks 100% of shift.
- Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently.
- Able to deliver plates, food & clear tables which may require lifting as much as 30 lbs.
- Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Guests.
