Position Details:
Registered Nurse-Public Health, Full-time, 40 hrs./week, 8 hour shifts, Days, 08:00am-05:00pm, Monday-Friday, Set schedule
Non-Exempt, Non-Union, Hourly, Call Required.
Benefited position after 500 hour introductory period in met.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current CPR certification required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current, valid, & unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon, and current BLS for Healthcare worker
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience an/or training equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Skills:
Represents Public Health department in working to protect and improve the health of Lake County residents through prevention, education, and the provision of direct home or office services in the areas of immunization, family planning, communicable disease investigation, sexually transmitted disease evaluation and treatment, HIV testing and counseling, pregnancy screening and prenatal education, Babies First Case Management, CaCoon Case Management, and Maternity Case Management, Healthy Start and other Public Health services in Lake County.
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in operating business office computer programs.
