Retail Market Specialist Job at Marcolin Eyewear
Marcolin USA Retail Division is looking for a motivated individual to be part of our team. The position will focus on meeting or exceeding assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales goes strong in problem resolution, critical thinking, and navigating complexity.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management:
- Establish and maintain profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company; Build relationships with decision makers
- Establish and utilize a call schedule that ensures regular contact with accounts
- Communicate and implement all Marcolin marketing programs and initiatives
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints/concerns; provides solutions
- Merchandise company products at account locations to improve sell through and minimize returns.
Business Development
- Develop a strategic sales plan to identify and prioritize sales opportunities
- Grow business, and category (sunglasses) share, by identifying opportunities and executing plans.
Brand Ambassador
- Understand the philosophy and objectives of Marcolin and the Brands
- Educate the stores on the selling points, competitive advantages, merchandising standards and tools available to maximize sell through.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.
Administrative
- Set-up, maintain and update all account files
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
- Attend corporate meetings as directed by supervisor
- Prepare and submit status and activity reports as directed by supervisor
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales and customer service; minimum 2 years in the sale of branded products preferred
- Strong knowledge and aptitude of the selling process
- Knowledge of the sunglass/accessories industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency (Internet, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
- Demonstration of team leadership experience, including cross functional team management
- At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in digital strategy and channel development
- Strong analytical skills, and Retail Merchant experience a plus
This position will require presence and focused on visits 4-5 times weekly at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks stores.
