Job Title: Retail Associate
Department: Pro Shop & Team Store
Reports To: Director of Retail
Summary of Position:
The Community First Igloo is the HOME of the Jacksonville Icemen Hockey Team as well as a 2-rink ice skating facility, a 200-person restaurant, an eSports Lounge, and a full-service Pro Shop & Merchandise store. We are currently looking for energetic, self-motivated, and experienced customer service and sports-oriented team members to fill the role of Community First Igloo Pro Shop Associate. The responsibilities and duties described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests and drive Pro Shop sales
- Perform accurate cash handling and point of sale transactions
- Receive, stock, and inventory items
- Keep workspaces clean and clear
- Report any shrink, loss/theft from stock to the Pro Shop Director or Rink General Manager
- Ability to establish strong product knowledge
- Maintain the appearance of shop, which may include stocking, folding clothes and performing general housekeeping duties
- Assist customers with fitting of equipment
- Sharpen ice skates and perform minor repairs to skating equipment
- Maintain an appealing retail setting for guests
- Take special orders from customers
- Responsible for daily/nightly cleaning of store
- Answer emails and return phone calls in a timely, professional manner
- Any other duties as assigned

- Must be a team player
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Available for a variety of shifts including nights/weekends
Preferred Qualifications
· Retail experience
· Hockey Knowledge
· Customer Service experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
