We are seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist for a well respected teaching hospital in New England! Responsibilities include meeting with and examining patients who have pulmonary diseases, disorders, or complications. Conducting, performing, and analyzing diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capacity and capability. Working with physicians and nurses to create treatment plans. Evaluating progress of treatment. Administering inhalants. Documenting care by updating charts and records. Operating mechanical ventilators and other machines. Completing discharge planning by working with other members of the medical team. Training patients how to administer treatments and use equipment on their own. Recommending equipment and treatment for outpatient or home health.
Start Date: Ideal candidate can start as early as 05/30/2023. Will take candidates that can start before or after
Length: 13+ Weeks
Schedule: Rotating Days, Evenings, Nights / Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
REQUIREMENTS
- RT License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) years Experience Required
- Must be a Registered RT ONLY
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- New York
