Job Summary

Work in a fast-paced working environment and keep that smile on your face as we meet and greet new guests, new residents and residents who have lived in the Resort for years. Able to de-escalate upset residents when needed and to just enjoy the Resort life along with our residents and able to help them through their daily needs and concerns. Should be able to talk with guests over the phone and help them realize what a fabulous place Gold Canyon is to visit, stay for a while or a great place to move to.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Adheres to all Roberts Resorts policies, rules, and regulations in the execution of the job;
  • Greet & establish a rapport with guests, residents, prospective residents, and vendors
  • Answer calls efficiently for reservations and customer/resident requests
  • Answers questions in our website online chat
  • Report resort comments, suggestions, and complaints to the Resort Manager
  • Efficiently check guests in and out, handling reservations and walk-in guests
  • Collect rents, deposits, and payments for other services in Rent Manager and Campspot
  • Make collection calls for site rental payments as directed
  • Send emails to residents / potential guests as needed
  • Maintain and complete resort files, reports, and records
  • Upload resident files and resident/guest communications to Rent Manager?
  • Prepare and distribute resort communications such as newsletters, rule reminders, violations, etc.
  • Ensure office supplies are sufficiently stocked and prepare orders as needed
  • Sort mail and packages and distribute to administration
  • Secure documents for leases
  • Input meter readings?
  • Contact maintenance when needed for guests with any potential problems?
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

  • Oral & written communication skills
  • Organization, Reading skills & time management
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.
