HVAC Installer in a Nutshell
The Installer will install HVAC equipment into residential customer’s homes. This includes equipment such as: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes

· Troubleshoot equipment installation, start-up, operation and other issues

· Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings

· Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational

· Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle

· Follow all safety and training per company policy and procedure

· Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and in operating order

· Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings

· Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

· 4-5 years of HVAC experience

· Must have a valid EPA certification

· Ability to measure ductwork and install all equipment and accessories

· Test and braze line sets, evacuate and charge systems

· Ability to complete simple low and high voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditioners

· Must be able to lift 100lbs

· Comfortable working from ladders that are 28’ and possibly higher

· Excellent customer service skills

· Comfortable working outdoor in the elements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record
