We currently have Residential Construction Apprentice Internship openings. Our interns work alongside and learn from our experienced Project Superintendents and team members in customer service, sales, and our trade partners.

As Residential Construction Apprentice, your primary responsibilities include an assigned neighborhood reporting to a General Superintendent.

The Position:

Assist in overseeing the progress and quality of home construction

• Upkeep assigned subdivision
• Assist in supervising subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist with conducting construction inspections, homebuyer walk-throughs, ensuring homes are completed on time
• Ensure Jobsite is OSHA compliant and safe at all times
• Assist with cost control and quality control
• Maintain schedules, policies, and guidelines
• Communicate with sales, customer service/warranty, and office personnel

Skills/Experience:

• Two years of college studies in construction management, civil engineering, or related field
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college in the united states
• Construction or related experience preferred
• General knowledge of basic construction terms and tools
• Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps, and computer programs
• OSHA Training
• Strong interest in vertical and multifamily/residential Construction
• Personal, reliable transportation to get to work
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated with high energy level as well as a positive attitude
• Ability to work well with co-workers and trades in unsupervised situations
• Solid organizational abilities and customer service skills
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to establish positive relationships with all levels of the organization and build relationships with outside resources
• Bilingual a plus
