As a Reservation Specialist at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $23.49 per hour.

A day in the life of our Reservation Specialist demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Reservation Specialists accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know. Our Reservation Specialists are responsible for developing relationships with guests to understand their likes and preferences to create long memories and repeat guests.

• Maintains confidentiality of all guest information during their day. This will include monitoring and ensuring that all guest information is input into the system accurately, completely and timely during their day. This will include inputting and updating reservations requested by phone call, email, or booking system, ensuring that guest calls are answered and handled according to the designated call standards and working closely with the Guest Relations team to guarantee our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving multiple bookings, adjoining rooms, room preferences and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Reservation Specialists.
• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Reservation Specialists are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Reservation Specialists must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Reservation Specialists are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods, to reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls.

Manual dexterity and coordination are required to operate office equipment. Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist. Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light (10lbs) to moderate amounts (up to 30 pounds) of weight; Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.

The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments. Ability to handle stressful situations.
