Job Description:
- Supports all programs and projects related to Workers Compensation and Auto customer service.
- Reviews bill pricing disputes.
- Verifies provider demographic data.
- Completes provider outreach/education.
- Maintains communication with providers and clients regarding the status of their inquiries.
- Works with internal and external networks departments to resolve issues.
- Promptly responds to inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Works closely with the client/account management maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring a beneficial relationship between Coventry and the client.
- Reviews client workflow documentation and seeks to optimize department workflows (lean out the process).
- Participates in daily/weekly/monthly collaboration meetings with leadership and peers.
- Independently responds to inquiries, grievances, or complaints of moderate to substantial complexity.
- Completes day-to-day tasks without immediate supervision but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
- Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues.
- Position requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to understand and interpret multiple systems setup and output and be able to clearly and concisely explain the resolution to a complex issue
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments competently, accurately, and efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Effective keyboard skills; able to navigate within a computer/systems-dependent environment without assistance
- Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint. and Excel, strong Outlook skills required.
