Reporting to BIG Health Director, you will:

• For Global innovative Health projects lead by BIG, be a real business partner all along the development process of innovative health ingredients. Be member of the project teams and ensure recommendations on product best regulatory positioning, propose unexplored regulatory opportunities, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations & internal policies. Build technical dossiers for product documentation and as necessary authorization (Novel food, nutrition and health claims). Coordinate collaborations with external regulatory consultants.
• Develop strong regulatory foundations for products positioned on health, managing transversally and animating the regulatory colleagues in the Divisions and Regions (trainings, sharing of information etc). Support them by providing advice for their own product developments.
• Contribute to the evaluation of external partners.
• Represent the company externally by being member of an international professional association. Ensure the monitoring of regulatory evolutions, propose external positions to be defended and propose internal contingency plans as necessary.

• Life Science University Master Degree /Engineer/ Pharmacist, PhD is considered as a plus if in the nutrition field
• Regulatory experience of minimum 6 years, working in an international food company selling either food supplements, Food and beverages products with health claims, or selling health ingredients in BtoB. An experience in a regulatory consulting firm will also be considered
• Knowledge of regulations (Codex and from regions EU, USA, AESAN) for food and if possible for petfood:

• food supplements
• botanicals
• labelling
• health claims
• fortification
• novel food
• medical food

• Good understanding of EFSA guidances for health claims, of Good Clinical Practices
• Fluency in English
