Responsibilities:

• Under the general supervision of the Radiology Director, Medical Director and the RN Radiology Coordinator, the Radiology RN assists with patient care in diagnostic, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Mammography, and Interventional procedures.
• The Radiology RN maintains accurate documentation of patient data while in the radiology department.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of patient physiologic monitors and performs emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed.
• Will instruct and aid in the training of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine students in clinical nursing practices.
• Rotating standby call for interventional procedures is a requirement of this position.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledgeable in handling controlled medications in Radiology according to hospital protocol.
