Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Lab Job at Atlantic Health System
Atlantic Health System is seeking Per Diem Registered Nurses to work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Morristown Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Candidate will assist physician(s) with CATH/PCI, Peripheral, Impella, Structural Heart Cases (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, Valvuloplasty, PFO, ASD) and ICD cases.
- Administers post-recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.
- Must be able to assess for and manage arterial access site complications. Adheres to on-call policy requirements and responds appropriate to emergency calls per unit policy.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Education:
- BSN Preferred
- MSN Preferred
License/Certification:
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- CCRN preferred
Relevant Experience:
- 1-2 years of Acute care, Cardiac Telemetry, ED, Med/Surg experience strongly preferred
- Previous Cath Lab experience is a plus
