Regional Sales Manager - Prior Solar Sales Experience a Must - New Market Job at NY State Solar

Building off our incredible success and reputation, NY State Solar is continuing our explosive growth and have launched a new National Brand in New Jersey.
We have recently introduced EvoSolar to the market and are prepared to launch.
As part of this growth we will be expanding our Sales Leadership Team and are in search of a Sales Manager to help launch this new market and oversee the Region as it grows.

The right candidate will work closely with all areas of the business, but primarily with our In-Home Sales team in New Jersey. They will be a motivating influence on our experienced team. They will provide the right support and process management to help take their business to the next level.

Core Responsibilities for the Sales Manager:

  • Oversee and contribute to execution of cross-functional plans, objectives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to solve areas of opportunity presented by the Program Managers.
  • Interprets company and department goals, metrics and KPI’s into functional goals and strategies
  • Provide leadership, professional development, and coaching to improvements and performance management.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for Program Manager (Slipstream Portal, Private Financing, etc.)
  • Acts as the program point of contact for senior management stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Data Analysts to determine reports needed to properly track deals and performance.
  • Create an throughout and planned approach to customer follow-ups. Adjust as needed
  • Manage collection of required documents, collect what's missing to get deals to contract/install.
  • Perform Project and Contract reviews with the team prior to projects closing to avoid bottlenecks and last minute redesigns.
  • Ensure regular and consistent documentation and dispositions in Salesforce
  • Recommends and implements corrective action across organizations, as necessary, to improve program performance (Remove/Replace incapable Program Managers).
  • Lead Assignments when necessary
  • May need to be available during nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned..

Desired Skill and Experience for the Sales Manager:

  • 7-10 years experience in a Sales Strategy or Planning Role
  • Experience working in a Financing and Contract driven environment
  • Experience working closely with a commission based sales team
  • Salesforce Experience a Big Plus
  • Advertising technology experience preferred
  • Bachelors’ Degree Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
