JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Office Manager is responsible for supporting patient service functions in the Fort Myers and Naples offices, along with the surrounding regional locations. The Regional Office Manager is responsible for supporting all initiatives that ensure the quality and efficiency standards result in the highest level of patient experience. The Regional Office Manager provides operational leadership to the team, assuring quality and compliance standards are met. The Regional Manager supports the team, promoting a high performing culture, while supporting employee engagement and retention.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Provides daily guidance to the desk, phone and patient financial counselor teams to ensure the highest standards for the patient experience are being met. Ensures high level of patient satisfaction, including supporting the team in continuous improvement, providing service recovery as needed.
- Manages patient flow from registration to delivery to clinic and drives quality initiatives, along with day-to-day recommendations for continually improving the patient experience.
- Provides support in developing employee growth opportunities and career development plans. Provides continuous and meaningful feedback, including performance evaluations. Recommends financial increases that create parity and incentivizes staff toward improved performance on key metrics.
- Develops and supports local team leads to promote a high functioning and collaborative team.
- Partners with the revenue cycle management team to ensure that fees are appropriately collected, posted and reported.
- Creates work schedules that maximize efficient utilization of staff.
- Manages physicians’ templates and scheduling process in order to ensure efficient and smooth patient flow, and cohesive staff utilization.
- Ensures KPI’s for template utilization are met. Creates and enforces protocols to maximize template management.
- Continuously monitors the facility to maintain high standards of presentation and functionality.
- Supports the VP of Ops in achieving performance standards on KPIs and benchmarks that maximize productivity and utilization including special projects.
- Ensures availability of medical and office supplies and supports inventory management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate, with previous application of leadership skills in a healthcare environment, business or related field.
- Technology savvy, with competency in Office Suite and ability to learn software applications as required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business, healthcare administration or related fields.
- Previous management experience leading a team in healthcare.
- Understanding of ophthalmology workflows and processes.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- This is a full-time exempt position. Salaried staff are required to balance work demands with and performance with personal needs.
- Weekly travel among the regional offices will be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing and moving between workspaces.
- Ability to travel between locations as necessary.
