The Regional Office Manager supports initiatives and provides operational leadership to the front desk, call center, and financial counselor teams at Retina Health Center in the Fort Myers and Naples offices. The manager promotes a high-performing culture and employee engagement and retention, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met and the highest level of patient experience is delivered.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate, with previous application of leadership skills in a healthcare environment, business, or related field required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business, healthcare administration, or related fields preferred.
Previous management experience leading an office team in a medical practice with a surgical component.
Understanding of ophthalmology workflows and processes desired.

Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and develop strategy.
Understanding of revenue cycle management.
Technology savvy, with competency in Office Suite and the ability to learn software as required.
Possesses a high degree of discretion and professionalism and can maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to maintain a professional, respectful, and courteous work environment.
Ability to travel between multiple locations (Naples and Fort Myers).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides daily guidance to the desk, phone, clinical, and patient financial counselor teams to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction, including supporting the team in continuous improvement.
Manages patient flow from registration to delivery to clinic with day-to-day recommendations for continually improving the patient experience.
Provides support in developing employee growth and career development plans. Provides continuous and meaningful feedback, including performance evaluations.
Develops and supports local team leads to promote a high-functioning and collaborative team.
Partners with the revenue cycle management team to ensure that fees are appropriately collected, posted, and reported.
Manages physicians’ templates and the scheduling process in order to ensure efficient and smooth patient flow.
Continuously monitors the facility to maintain high standards of presentation and functionality.
Supports the Retina Services Manager on building a collaborative team to enhance the patient experience.
Supports the VP of Ops in achieving performance standards on KPIs and benchmarks that maximize productivity and utilization.
Ensures the availability of medical and office supplies and supports inventory management.
