Regional Director of Optical Operations Job at MEDICAL EYEGLASS CENTER
MEC, the trusted name in optical dispensary development, is currently seeking a Regional Director of Optical Operations for a multi-location practice in Buffalo, NY
The Regional Director of Optical Operations must have a proven track record of driving sales through a consistent, high quality patient and customer experience in a multi-unit optical environment.
- Take ownership and manage all activities of the optical dispensary which include staffing, optician development and patient flow management.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the client, providers, technicians and administrative personnel. Engage in discussions on a daily/weekly basis to review areas of opportunities and provide routine guidance.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with company management, including the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) and MEC Headquarters.
- Drive the optical sales within the client locations by strengthening practice development activities, optician training and operational excellence.
- Meet all client sales, collections and performance goals established by the Company.
- Audit daily activity reports and complete other weekly and monthly management reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Make merchandise recommendations to the Company as needed.
- Develop and execute the proper use of all in-office promotions and point-of-sale materials.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures (such as computer use, personal device policy, dress code, communication protocols, etc)
- Communicate all employee concerns or issues directly and immediately with MEC management (such as change in work schedule, PTO request, sick leave, client relationship issues, etc)
- Create an inspiring and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years multi-unit optical management experience
- A proven track record of delivering positive results and positive growth
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
