General Description
As an integral part of the Human Resources team, The Recruiting Coordinator ensures the Company establishes and maintains effective tools for sourcing, screening, selecting and onboarding new team members. This person must have the ability to establish great working relationships, both inside and outside of the organization. In addition, the Recruiting Coordinator must be able to create, refine and update processes that allow the Company to add talented individuals quickly and efficiently.
The Recruiting Coordinator must ensure Company processes remain in compliance with current employment laws and Walt Disney World guidelines. In order to be successful, a Recruiting Coordinator must possess a thorough knowledge of human resource law, company ethics and business operations.
Work Duties
- Establish and maintain recruiting relationships with a variety of recruitment resources (colleges, culinary schools, employment agencies etc.)
- Leverage social media and other resources to enhance and expand recruiting efforts
- Assist in creating and revising Company job descriptions
- Communicate with Company leaders to understand each team’s staffing needs
- Utilize Company hiring and onboarding software to post and advertise up-to-date job openings
- Research market trends in pay and benefits and assist in establishing salary/pay scales
- Screen, evaluate and recommend candidates through our applicant tracking system
- Assist in creating an effective interview process and appropriate interview questions
- Attend and/or perform interviews as necessary
- Communicate job offers and create/send offer letters to candidates as necessary
- Implement and maintain efficient and effective processes for onboarding new team members
- Ensure each candidate has a positive experience from the application process through the onboarding and training process
- Ensure all federal, state and local employment laws are followed in the recruiting and hiring process
- Consistently and effectively communicate all necessary information to the proper team members
- Work closely with all Company leaders and team members and display good teamwork
- Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
- All other tasks as assigned
