Sr. Recruiter (Medical) - Anchorage, AK
Job Summary
To manage the in-house recruitment function for Beacon’s needs across all service lines with focus on medical staffing. Establish a consultative relationship with Hiring Managers through functional alignment with internal departments and provide professional support and advice on best practice recruitment methodologies. The role will also ensure that all new staff are appropriately credentialed and fit to fly where required. To manage and hold weekly recruitment meetings with key stakeholders.
The role focuses on actively providing full end to end recruitment, candidate management, alternative sourcing methodologies and best practice recruitment services to attract, engage and retain the best talent in the global market for the business.

Key Responsibility:
Recruiter will plan, facilitate, and manage the day-to-day activities of the designated area(s) as well as actively participate in the delivery of services. Ensure the delivery of excellent quality client focused services, continuous improvement and maximize the efficiency and development of the employees and organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide daily leadership and hands on recruitment for specifically allocated divisions in line with the operational needs and strategic North America recruitment framework.
- Develop and maintain a strong credible, professional working relationship with all key internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
- Coach managers on the best recruitment process and best practice recruitment practices to enable the business to attract high caliber candidates.
- Conduct “hands on” all end-to-end recruitment activities such as advertising, candidate sourcing, short listing, telephone screening, interviewing, reference checks, credentialing, background and motor checks and referring candidates for interview across all operational, non-operational and medical teams ensuring the recruitment process flows smoothly to deliver high quality results.
- Ensure candidates receive appropriate feedback from Beacon within 1-3 business days of interview.
- Attend and conduct interviews with all line managers.
- Build/maintain a professional working relationship with candidates who are progressing through the assessment to offer stage.
- Maintain candidate and employee records on the recruitment database so that all information is current and accurate in accordance with Beacon/International SOS requirements for record keeping and reporting.
- Act as a role model within the business, ensuring that professional standards are maintained at all times, and policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Participate in North America Medical Services (NAMS) recruitment projects and provide recruitment support across the NAMS region and to other regions as requested.
- Proactively develop and utilize alternative sourcing methodologies to reduce recruitment spend and increase talent diversity for targeted professional groups. Reduce reliance on recruitment agencies and print media spend
- Input in a timely manner all relevant recruitment information into the Taleo database including relevant candidate information and offer details are recorded in Taleo.
- Ensure all recruitment data is captured in Taleo or other reporting databases and metrics are kept up to date. Produce recruitment reports as requested based on the recruitment data and metrics as requested by the business.
- Ensure recruitment information and statistical reports are accurate and updated on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to reflect current, accurate and relevant data and produced as requested by the business.
- Ensure Expressions of Interest (EOI) are distributed to the business as required.
- Ensure a current up to date Job Description is available. Prepare and revise job descriptions when and as required.
- Utilize mandatory psychometric testing suite where needed as part of the recruitment methodology.
- To work within and promote all Beacon/International SOS’s policies, procedures and corporate values.
- Undertake recruitment project work and other reasonable duties as requested by the Administrative and Functional Managers.
- Organization and representation at various career and professional conferences.
- Act as a mentor and leader in a senior capacity within the Recruitment and Human Resources team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Profile:

- At times the job owner may be required to provide recruitment and staffing services for the IHMS business unit as requested. Monitor staff and facilitate productivity.

Required Work Experience
- Extensive recruitment experience gained in a rapid paced environment
- Strong previous senior executive recruitment experience
- Previous experience in leading a small recruitment team
- Experience in recruiting a diverse workforce of senior executives, junior staff and medical professionals.
- Experience recruiting medical staff, understanding of medical licensure/qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in Human Resources would be held in high regards.
- Further professional qualifications desirable.
