Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a resilient, self-motivated recruiter to develop recruitment strategies and handle the full cycle recruitment process for our HR team. In this role, you will design and implement recruitment and internship plans, identify hiring needs, design job descriptions, source the best job applicants, conduct interviews, manage the employee profile database and keep abreast of employment law and legislation. You will also collaborate with managers and recruitment personnel to develop improved talent acquisition strategies.
A successful candidate will be organized and have a keen eye for detail, is flexible, demonstrates excellent interpersonal and active listening skills, and remains current with employment law and legislature. An outstanding recruiter will have a network of contacts in the industry and understand how to utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media, and candidate relationship management (CRM) software to attract suitable candidates for current and further positions.
What is Expected From You:
- Manage the 360-degree recruitment process
- Identify recruiting needs and source the best applicants to fill vacancies.
- Prepare and post attractive job descriptions to online job boards, social media, and other channels such as email.
- Analyze existing talent acquisition procedures and develop new, more efficient methods of finding great candidates.
- Develop your own network of suitable candidates.
- Use applicant tracking systems (ATS), and candidate relationship management (CRM) software to streamline recruitment processes.
- Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
- Schedule and conduct interviews with potential hires via email, phone, video, or in person.
- Organize and attend traditional and virtual job fairs.
- Manage internship program
- Complete reference and background checks, and prepare job offers.
- Monitor new and existing employees and act as their advocate.
- Handle administration and record-keeping
- Remain current on employment legislation and regulations, and enforce them within the company.
- Network with industry professionals and keep abreast of developments in talent acquisition.
- Provide recruitment reports to team managers.
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, human resources management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of competency experience in 360-degree, full-cycle recruiting
- Working knowledge of talent management software
- Familiarity with resume parsing software and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Preferred - Demonstratable experience recruiting for startup companies with proven growth
- An enthusiastic, positive person who embraces work with a sense of urgency and persistence within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent record keeping.
- A professional yet approachable demeanor.
