Outside Brands is seeking a high-energy and creative individual to help lead the activities of Leisure programs. Ensure the security of the guests by verifying waivers are completed. Assist with supervising the kiosk areas and helping in other areas of the business, as requested.

The Recreational Services Lead is a position that revolves around engaging and educating guests of the Westin and Sonesta Resorts about the offerings of Outside Brands. This includes but is not limited to: equipment rental, retail, and the sales of on and off-site excursions. Satellite Location Associates will be cross-trained in all aspects of sales of Outside Brands (reservations, retail, and rentals) and will also to be expected to seamlessly cross between operations at the Westin and Sonesta Resorts along with fleet rental deliveries and pickups.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Explain and demonstrate use of apparatus and equipment.
• Greet guests as they enter the kiosk area and check in/out bicycles to hotel guests.
• Maintain all work area standards including safety standards in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor work area(s) for cleanliness and safety issues.
• Routinely conduct inspections of company equipment and report any maintenance and repair needs to Director of Programs, as needed.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent plus 6 months experience in a related field. Some College preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred. Must have previous cash- handling experience. CPR/First Aid certification required.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

• Standing and moving about the facilities.
• Demonstrating use of apparatus and equipment.
• Lifting or pushing up to 55 pounds.
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees; Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training.
• Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
• Use of a cash register on a daily basis.
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
