Duties:

• Develops and maintains a system for effective clinical documentation (including maintaining training manuals) in accordance with county, state, and federal compliance standards.
• Participates in Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) Quality Assurance/Improvement meetings and training, as well as internal Quality Assurance/Improvement meetings.
• Trains and/or recommends training for staff as needed to help ensure quality of documentation and compliance with established standards.
• Assist the Quality Assurance Director of the Mental Health Depratment with program oversight and support various quality assurance activities as assigned.
• Completes evaluation and assessment of quality in the delivery of services, as well as compliance with organizational procedures and policies.
• Participates in client treatment planning and meetings.

Qualifications

• Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus at least one year of administrative experience or supervisory experience over social work, childcare, and/or support staff providing direct services to children in an agency or in a community care facility with a licensed capacity of six or more.

Or

• Have a high school diploma and at least four years of administrative experience or supervisory experience over social work, childcare, and/or support staff providing direct services to children in an agency or in a community care facility with a licensed capacity of six or more.

• Have at least four years’ experience working with the resident population.

• Ability to manage time efficiently, organize and prioritize tasks, demonstrate sound judgment, give attention to detail, be flexible, self-driven and motivated.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the above duties.

• Must have a criminal record clearance and child abuse index clearance.

• Must have some knowledge and ability to comply with all applicable laws and is familiar with Title 22, Regulations.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and approved to drive the company vehicle.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
