QC Inspectors (all shifts) Job at Putnam Plastics Corporation
Summary: The Quality Control Inspector performs in-process and post production inspection of product to ensure compliance with approved specifications as well as provides support to other departments as needed.

- Performs incoming, in-process and post production inspections and records inspection results on approved forms
- Verifies inspection and manufacturing records for completeness and accuracy
- All other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess the ability to inspect product using inspection tools
- Must be able to perform job requirements with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be proficient in reading and comprehension of drawings, specifications, procedures, manuals and work instructions, applying mathematical concepts, and performing measurement conversions.
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment, have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and have strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven proficiency with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and/or FDA/cGMP quality system requirements as well as good documentation practices (GDP).
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector Certification or similar.
- 3-5 years of quality control and/or laboratory experience, preferable in a manufacturing and/or medical
- organization.
- Six Sigma green belt certification and/or experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and sit. Position also requires employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must possess a high level of dexterity in order to perform tasks related to the inspection of small parts as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee will occasionally be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, as well as stoop, kneel, or crouch.
