Job duties:
- Update vendor information in the accounting and bill-pay system
- Update vendor bills with accurate coding according to the chart of accounts
- Process manual checks, electronic bill pay, wire transfers
- Oversee aging AP, monitor and ensure bills ae paid timely
- Reconcile corporate credit cards with proper documentation
- Create POS for domestic products, place and track vendor orders
- Coordinate exports and containers
- Process cash receipts
- Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required
Nice to have:
- Associate degree in accounting or business administration preferred but not required
- Microsoft NAV
- Private company experience
- Bilingual: Spanish/English
Requirements:
- Must have (5) years of bookkeeping experience with GL coding (chart of accounts) and accounts payable focus
- Solid understanding of accounts payable principles including applying proper cutoff procedures
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Must have strong MS Excel and MS Office proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Background check required
