Join our exciting, modern, and family-oriented practice! We have immediate openings for part-time/full-time veterinary assistants. Some evening/weekend availability is required. Shift differential pay is provided for evenings and Saturdays. Experience is preferred. Interested applicants may apply online or call 717-656-4144.
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge of computers, calculators, copy and fax machines.
- The ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be friendly, patient, enthusiastic, hardworking, eager to learn, and able to resolve conflict.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and wrapping surgical equipment.
- Monitor animals during post-surgical care.
- Assist in holding animals for X-rays.
- Assist in the care of animals during veterinary procedures including IV catheterization and euthanasia.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking messages, answering client questions.
- Preparing reminder wellness cards for mailing.
- General cleaning of exam rooms, emptying wastebaskets, mopping floors, laundry.
- Invoicing and taking client payment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
