Project Manager/Sales Job at Stephens & Smith Construction
Stephens & Smith Construction s Specialty Products Division is currently seeking a full time, Project Manager/Sales to join our growing team. This position will support and work with the Sales Manager in a variety of tasks to include prospect and generate sales with new customers as well as established customers, estimating residential and commercial work, coordinating projects from start to finish along with assisting in daily operations.
Job Duties:
1. SALES
a. Accurately bid all work types for Division #6 (Residential & Commercial)
- Gypsum Underlayments
- Polishing & Prep
- Coatings
- Infloor Heat
b. Search for projects to bid daily on builder s exchanges
c. Bid all project leads sent to you by sales manager
d. Goal of 30 bids per month
e. Division #6 project sales manager to approve every bid
f. Submit bids to General Contractor
g. Follow up on bids
h. Return voicemails & emails within 48 hours
2. Project Management
a. Ordering of materials
b. Product submittals / warranties
c. Assist in daily operations / tasks delegated by sales manager
i. Semi Schedule / Order GypCrete
ii. Job cost accounting on completed / open projects
d. Technical support for crews
3. Leadership
a. Must maintain good professional relationships with coworkers and customers
b. Ability to delegate task as workload progresses
c. Communication is key
i. Be reachable for customers & coworkers
ii. Reports any project, product, customer, or crew issues/concerns to Sales Manager or Department Head immediately.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of construction experience
1-2 years of sales experience preferred
Associates Degree in related field preferred
