The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) is seeking a Project Manager reporting into the SVP, Information Services. This position provides project management operational and technical support for various projects assigned by the SVP, Information Services. These types of projects include, but are not limited to, a project plan for software development, systems implementations, system version upgrades, system maintenance, data analytics and customer support related projects. This position will also contribute to the strategic planning and execution of all technical projects assigned as a key partner for HANYS success.

A remote working environment may be considered. The salary for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 annually.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develops in coordination with key stakeholders a comprehensive project plan that at times may include technical and operational resources across HANYS and within DataGen as assigned. This includes identifying all tasks with required prerequisite tasks, responsible parties, technical resources, test plans and realistic time lines and project milestones.
• Conducts regular project management meetings with responsible parties to ensure the project plan is being executed as planned.
• Where possible and applicable develops and executes unit system and/or application testing plans to ensure the project plan and associated deliverables are working and on track, overseeing the development and execution of all test plans.

• Coordinates all project plan go live user and customer notifications including all user, customer and stakeholder notifications ensuring go-live and new system implementations and upgrades are as non-disruptive to our users as possible.
• Coordinates all project plan go live technical and operational logistics, ensuring that everyone understands what is required to transition from a test environment to a live production environment with all key stakeholders signing off on going live.
• At the conclusion of each project plan conducts a lessons learned meeting to review all aspects of the project, ensuring we use our project experience to continually improve our project execution ability.
• Respects the leadership authority of staff resources assigned to a project
• Ensures all project plans follow all HANYS security, technical and operational standards, all HANYS policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.

• Conducts Information Services and DataGen monthly meetings to all cross company projects are on track including scheduling monthly meetings, maintaining the Information Services -DataGen worksheet of projects and leading the discussion at all meetings.
• Ensures along with the SVP that all costs comply within budget
