Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a qualified Logistics Lead for its Hypersonic line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with MRP to facilitate movement of materials.
- Facilitates equipment scheduling and personnel
- Confirm material supply and demands
- Works with engineers to finalize BOMs for Agile release
- Ensures inventory requirements are met to complete assemblies.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires a BA degree and 4 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.
- Responsible for projects or processes within an area.
- Responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of others
- Develops solutions to problems and issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and understanding of domain knowledge.
- Communicates with internal and client project team members.
- Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
- Has full understanding of concepts, principles, and industry practices within own discipline.
- Has deep understanding of industry practices and standards.
Other Qualifications
- Develop program test plans, perform site surveys to determine if they could support the program needs, provide support to engineering processes. Provide program employees day-to-day assistance as required for test set up and support, packing of equipment, performance of maintenance tasks, coordinating tasks with support organizations, and supporting as part of the mechanical, electrical, and test teams as required during operations.
- Assembling periodic data packages on maintenance and storage actions. Support as touch labor when needed. Provide workspace environmental reports to the program as required. Coordinating movements and storage of program assets.
- Assisting with developing CONOPs for operations, maintenance and transportation activities, development of support concepts for new projects.
- Performing as liaison for lab activities and overseeing maintenance operations on laboratory equipment.
- Maintaining inventory, paperwork, calibration, and asset control of tagged property.
- Assist in developing transportation plans and procedures for domestic and international shipments along Develop and implement transportation plans for moving hardware to remote site. Work with Government property and program personnel to generate documentation for movement of hardware.
- Assist in the Development of Product Support Management Plans and other documentation for delivery to customer along with performing in depth analysis of environmental data recordings and documenting the results.
- Must understand the system engineering process and requirements flow down.
