About the Part-Time Program Associate role:


BRIC seeks a Part-Time Program Associate to assist the Education team with daily scheduling, administrative assistance and equipment oversight.


What You’ll Do in the Role:


The Part-Time Program Associate will be responsible for the following in addition to any other project as assigned by their manager, the Senior Manager, Residencies:

  • Assist the Education Team in residency partner outreach and general inquiries.
  • Track communication and status of residencies; assist the Residencies manager with daily tasks.
  • Provide scheduling support to the education team for all internal and external partnership meetings.
  • Maintain inventory of residency materials, snacks for fellowship programs and residencies, replenishing and reordering materials as needed. Ensure supply spaces are organized and clean.
  • Deliver equipment and supplies to residency sites while keeping equipment log up-to-date.
  • Prepare documents for department use.
  • Collaborate with the Education Team on programming needs. Serve as a substitute to Teaching Artists when needed.
  • Tracking program expenses for department

  • Experience and qualifications: 1-2 years experience in a related field. Interest in the arts and education. Experience teaching visual and/or media arts preferred.
  • Communication: An emotionally intelligent, values, and results-driven team player who can collaborate across departments and at all levels of the organization. An excellent communicator who prioritizes customer service.
  • Commitment to Equity & Inclusion: Brings experience operationalizing equity within this role.

  • Compensation: The rate for this position is $20/hour.
  • Status and location: This is a part-time job, approximately 30 hours per week.
