FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Position Responsibilities:
- Unloading and loading of bins of parts using motorized fork lift.
- Scanning of labels to ensure proper storage, inventory control and customer shipments.
- Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.
- Conducts forklift safety checks on prescribed intervals.
- Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety,
- Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
- Other duties as assigned to maintain production.
Qualifications:
- Follows all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) safe job behaviors, etc.
- Able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift by passing forklift training class and obtaining license.
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to read and understand operation standards, job instructions and product labels.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.
WELDING
Qualifications
The selected candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of similar jobs within the applicable area, familiar with quality standards and certification, good communication skills both written and verbal, and ability to build a strong team and manage conflicts.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of weld repair re-work
- Communicate with supervisor/managers to address concerns
- Achieve daily production goals
- Repair all defects found by assembly, sort company or in conveyor area by end of your shift
- Assist with troubleshooting fit up, slag buildup, torch condition, etc
- Must follow a set, periodic rotation through each inspection area
